The Birthday Celebration of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was observed with great devotion and enthusiasm at Sri Sathya Sai College for Women (SSSCW). The campus wore a festive look as students and staff began the day with beautiful decorations; the entrance, corridors, and stage were adorned with fresh flowers, rangoli, festoons, and thematic posters reflecting the divine teachings of Bhagawan. A special altar with Baba’s portrait, surrounded by lamps and floral arrangements, created a serene atmosphere for the celebration. The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp followed by the chanting of Omkaram, Sahana Bhabatu, and Veda Mantras. The bhajan group of the college offered melodious and devotional bhajans that filled the hall with spiritual fervour. Teachers and students shared their reflections on the life and teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba, emphasising His universal message of love, service, and compassion. A graceful Odissi dance was presented by the students, depicting the ideals of purity and devotion associated with the occasion. In alignment with the message of “Love All, Serve All,” a seva activity was also undertaken, distributing fruits and essential items to the underprivileged. The celebration concluded with Mangala Arati, after which Prasad Sevan was arranged for all students, staff, and devotees. The entire event radiated devotion, discipline, and collective joy, making the celebration truly memorable.
