About Department

Mathematics department of Sri Sathya Sai College for Women started in 2013 and the Honors Course was introduced in 2017. Department of Mathematics offers B.Sc. (Math) and Math Elective and also takes the classes of quantitative aptitude and logical thinking. It is the academic department responsible for teaching and research in mathematics.
Mathematics has a huge scope in every field of our life such as medicine, engineering finance, economics etc. Mathematics is fun because there is less to read and understand the theory rather more to solve a problem and finding solution.

Mathematics vision is a statement that describes for teaching and learning mathematics including the desired outcomes for students.

  • Technology – enabled learning Technology will continue to play a larger role in math education with virtual reality interactive simulations and AI-driven platforms that make learning more engaging and personalized.
  • To create reputation for quality education empower students with knowledge and encourage them to pursue higher education and research.

To Provide a learning environment where students can become competent users of mathematics, enhance their mathematical, analytical and creative skills and provide a strong foundation for higher studies and industry.
