Every year, our college celebrates National Science Day to inspire students to explore the wonders of science and its practical applications. This event serves as a platform to unearth the hidden scientific talents and knowledge of students, fostering collaboration and teamwork. This year, we are honored to host the celebration in partnership with the Odisha Bigyan Academy, Government of Odisha, at our college campus.

As part of the festivities, we organized inter-school and inter-college competitions on February 7, 2025. To ensure a successful event, we reached out to around 25 local schools and colleges from mid-January until February 6, 2025, with great enthusiasm. We shared the competition topics on February 6 and were delighted to receive 110 responses from students in both Junior (Grades IX-XII) and Senior (Undergraduate) categories, despite a few exceptions due to ongoing exams.

On the day of the event, February 7, 2025, our teaching and non-teaching staff warmly welcomed the participants during the formal registration process. The various competitions (Essay writing, Painting, Quiz and Debate) then unfolded seamlessly at the LR and Arts Block of Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, Bhubaneswar, with strict adherence to time schedules. The event culminated with a beautiful Veda Chanting session performed by the students of Sri Sathya Sai High School, Unit-III, and Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, Bhubaneswar, bringing the day to a peaceful and reflective close.
