The NSS Winter Special Camp 2025 at Sri Sathya Sai College for Women, Bhubaneswar, was a week-long event that focused on youth empowerment and digital literacy. The camp, organized by the NSS unit and sponsored by Rama Devi Women’s University, began with an inspiring inaugural ceremony featuring speeches from esteemed guests, including Dr. Debjani Singh, Shri Debraj Rout, and Mrs. Sarojini Mohanty. The first day centered on youth participation in nation-building and digital literacy, with engaging sessions from experts like Shri Ajit Kumar Kushwaha and Shri Satyashri Soumyakanta Mahapatra.

The following days included a variety of activities, such as a yoga session on physical and mental well-being led by Mr. Sudhanshu Adhikari, a cybersecurity talk by Mrs. Sujata Das, and discussions on drug abuse and social responsibility. Participants also showcased their creativity through dance and painting competitions, fostering teamwork and artistic expression.

On Day 5, Miss Murchana Mishra, Advocate at Odisha High Court, led a session on women’s legal rights, sparking important discussions. The camp concluded with a community service day, which included an awareness rally on digital literacy and a campus cleaning program. A final campfire allowed volunteers to reflect on their experiences, solidifying the camp’s focus on social responsibility, digital awareness, and personal growth. the last day of the camp included a valedictory session where prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners of several competitions organised through out the camp.
